In this session Dr. Sharma will present the findings of the world’s most extensive shopper behavior study. Over 2 million shopping trips were captured on video in Kroger, Safeway, Ahold, Giant Eagle, Food Lion and Schnuck’s and you’ll see what we discovered. An in-depth, quantitative look at key shopper metrics for the center store, aimed at pinpointing the purchase barriers and the most likely ways to break those barriers and attract shopper/conversion. A comparative analysis of all the center store departments will provide an understanding of their relative contribution to the total store.
