Position Summary

VideoMining Corporation is seeking Computer Science/Electrical Engineering graduates to develop, test, and deploy our cutting edge computer vision solutions. The selected candidates will be tasked with improving the accuracy and robustness of our existing solutions, and implementing VideoMining solutions at our customers’ retail locations to solve business problems. The candidate will become a member of our vision services group, and will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly-motivated individuals.

VideoMining Corporation is a leading provider of in-store intelligence for shopper marketing. VideoMining’s technology enables consumer product manufacturers and retailers to gain quantitative insights into shopping behavior and the factors that impact that behavior. These insights help in planning, testing, and monitoring responses to marketing and merchandising strategies. Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand project needs and translate them into VideoMining platform specifications.
• Test and improve the accuracy of existing algorithms.
• Perform site survey of customer location to finalize the platform plan.
• Approve the installation of the platform performed by contractors.
• Configure VideoMining’s proprietary software.
• Ensure data collection with a high level of reliability.
• Write software scripts to manipulate data into necessary formats.
• Perform analysis of data for customer projects.

Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent analytical ability and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in C/C++, Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience with XML, Python, or C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of the .NET platform and some experience with Visual Studio is a plus.
• Ability to learn and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
