Market Research Account Executive


Position Summary

VideoMining Corporation is seeking a Market Research Account Executive to manage and cultivate client relationships, design effective research plans, collaborate with internal teams to execute projects, analyze data, and deliver insights to retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients. The position will be based in Dallas, Texas.

VideoMining Corporation is a leading provider of in-store intelligence for shopper marketing. VideoMining’s technology enables consumer product manufacturers and retailers to gain quantitative insights into shopping behavior and the factors that impact that behavior. These insights help in planning, testing, and monitoring responses to marketing and merchandising strategies. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with clients to understand their business and research objectives to strengthen relationships and expand business opportunities.
  • Develop effective project proposals to address research objectives.
  • Translate research needs of clients into project goals; develop statement and objectives; define insights plan to address the research problem.
  • Coordinate with technical and project management teams in the execution of the project.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to deliver insights and recommendations to clients; ensure quality in all customer deliverables.
  • Present research insights to client teams.
  • Maintain a high level of service to ensure client satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Increase the volume and breadth of business with assigned client base, responding to requests for proposals and presenting to clients.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing or related area.
  • 5+ years of market research and analytics experience, preferably in the CPG/Retail industry.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and insights skills; ability to analyze and extract important information from complex data; analyze trends.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical packages.
