Position Summary

VideoMining Corporation is seeking a Business Analyst to join its market research group to help design effective research plans, collaborate with internal teams to execute projects, analyze data, and deliver insights into retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients.

VideoMining Corporation is a leading provider of in-store intelligence for shopper marketing. VideoMining’s technology enables consumer product manufacturers and retailers to gain quantitative insights into shopping behavior and the factors that impact that behavior. Duties and Responsibilities

• Translate research needs of clients into project goals; develop statement and objectives; define insights plan to address the research problem.
• Coordinate with internal teams for execution of analytics projects.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to deliver insights and recommendations to clients; ensure quality in all customer deliverables.

Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing or related area.
• 5+ years of market research and analytics experience, preferably in the CPG/Retail industry.
• Excellent analytical and insights skills; ability to analyze and extract important information from complex data; analyze trends.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work well under pressure, and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical packages.
